Description from the Workshop

Night Ops AI changes how AI fight at night. No prefab edits, works in any scenario, runs on the server only. Light-based eyesight and accuracy Every couple of seconds the mod works out how lit each player is, from daylight down to pitch black. It accounts for time past sunset, moon phase, cloud cover, your own flashlight, and nearby switched-on lamps. AI eyesight and accuracy follow that light: under a bright moon they see you about as you see them, and on a black, overcast night they are close to blind and their aim drops off. Turn on a flashlight and you light yourself up. Hearing is unchanged, so gunfire and noise still give you away. Night garrison At dusk, AI groups pull back to the nearest building to where they spawned and hold it until morning, when their original orders return. About a quarter of patrols stay out. Best with an NVG mod. All values can be tuned in NO_Settings.c. Known limits: the moon is treated as up all night; a few AI may hold outside rather than inside a building; mods that also change AI skill may conflict.
