Description from the Workshop
Service Record follows a single Marine across every scenario you play. Promotions take time in service and performance. Decorations follow the USMC order of precedence. If you're killed, that Marine's record is closed for good, and a new Private reports in to take his place. RANK - Enlisted: Private through Sergeant Major, with rank insignia - Officers: A Sergeant or above with a clean record can be selected for a commission. Accept it on the Promotions tab and rise from Second Lieutenant through Colonel to four-star General. - Warrant Officers: or take an appointment instead and rise from Warrant Officer through Chief Warrant Officer 5. Or stay enlisted. It's your call. - Promotions need both battles survived and XP, like time-in-grade plus a composite score - Earn a Silver Star or higher for a meritorious promotion; the Medal of Honor promotes officers and warrant officers too - Promotions tab: when you're selected, choose your career path once (Commission, Warrant Officer or Stay Enlisted). The choice is final, and a friendly-fire incident costs you the selection until you earn it back. - Promotion warrants and commissions, worded like the real documents, with your date of rank - Your unit: every Marine serves with a company, battalion and regiment, named on his citations and DD-214 AWARDS & DECORATIONS - Valor: Medal of Honor, Navy Cross, Silver Star, Bronze Star with "V", Navy & Marine Corps Commendation and Achievement Medals with "V" - Purple Heart for wounds, posthumous if killed in action - Service and leadership: Navy Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy & Marine Corps Commendation and Achievement Medals - Combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal - Unit awards: Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Unit Commendation, Meritorious Unit Commendation - Campaigns: a campaign medal for every Procedural Combat map (Afghanistan for Kunar and Anizay, plus Takistan, Everon, Arland and Kolguyev), with bronze campaign stars - Serv...
