CHANGED - The vitals bounds and the proximity sweep are withheld from clients, which never read them - so they no longer take up a joining player's connection.

Description from the Workshop

Adds a vitals screen to the RHS Garmin wrist watch, reading heart rate and blood pressure from ACE Medical. Cycle to it like any other watch mode. - The watch switches to vitals by itself when the wearer's heart rate or blood pressure leaves the configured bounds, and switches back once both return to range. - The low blood pressure threshold sits at hypotension onset rather than the shock line, so it warns before a wearer collapses rather than as they do. - An optional buddy alert beeps and flashes the watch when a nearby friendly goes out of bounds, so a casualty who cannot call out is still noticed. Both parties need a watch. Off by default - it costs a periodic proximity sweep while anyone is down, enabled only by Server Owner. - Every threshold, range and period is configurable per server. Settings no client reads stay on the server, so they cost a joining player nothing. HOW THE BUDDY ALERT HANDLES DEATH A casualty who dies flashes once and their highlight clears, so you are told the outcome rather than left with a warning that never goes out. Anyone else still down causes your watch to have a red tint, and flashes again if they die. Somebody nearby that is killed outright also flashes, even though they were never "in distress" at any instant. You are never your own buddy. The alert is one watch telling its wearer about somebody else, so a single player cannot test it alone - and carrying two watches does not get round it, because both are on one person. OTHER MODS CAN READ THE VERDICT A wearer's state - unconscious, dead, or neither - is readable by any mod loaded after this one. ATG Signals uses it to carry a casualty's condition across the position network, so a marker can show that somebody is down and not only where they were. The verdict is the same one the buddy alert uses and is deliberately narrow: down means unconscious, not merely hurt. It is readable whether or not the buddy alert is switched on - that setting governs the bee...
