Description from the Workshop
# LHDF Metabolism LHDF Metabolism adds survival needs to player characters: food, water, energy and body temperature. It is part of the Lost Hope Dynamic Framework (LHDF) and builds on LHDF Core. ## Features - Food and water fall over time, faster when running, sprinting, swimming or carrying a heavy load. Energy falls while you move and comes back while you are well fed (food and water above 75) and while you rest. - Body temperature follows the weather: night, rain, wind and height make it colder; shelter, vehicles, lit fireplaces and clothing keep you warm. Wet clothes warm less. - Warnings and penalties as a value drops: no health regeneration when starving, stamina drains faster when thirsty, stamina is capped when exhausted. At the end of the range you take real damage and can die; at energy 0 you pass out. - Eat the vanilla MRE, army crackers, dried meat and meat leg, and drink from vanilla canteens, with the normal item use. - Drink and fill your canteens at wells, pumps, fountains, sinks, rivers and ponds. Sea water does not count. - A small HUD shows a value only when it gets low. - Values are saved with your character and survive logout and restart. Death resets them. ## Required on server and clients The HUD, the hold prompt and the stamina effects run on the clients, so the mod must be loaded on the server and on every client. ## Dependencies - Arma Reforger - LHDF Core ## Configuration Settings live in `$profile:LHDF/<namespace>/Metabolism.json`; most of them can be changed live by a Game Master in the "LHDF" tab. Item values and clothing warmth can be overridden in `Metabolism/Items.json` and `Metabolism/Clothing.json`. On every start the server writes every setting with its default to `_defaults/Metabolism.md` and `_defaults/Metabolism.json`.
