Description from the Workshop

AFO Throwing adds a few practical throwing improvements designed around CQB and milsim gameplay without replacing Arma Reforger’s normal grenade throwing system. The mod adds a short-range trajectory preview for equipped throwables, helping players judge throws around doors, windows, walls, and other close-range obstacles. The preview is limited to approximately the first 5 meters and includes predicted ricochets/bounces after contacting surfaces. The trajectory is calculated using the equipped throwable’s own projectile settings, including its base launch speed and inherited player movement. Native projectile speed variation is left intact, so the trajectory should be treated as an estimate rather than a perfect impact prediction. The trajectory can be toggled on or off through a rebindable control for players who prefer to use the vanilla experience. Quick Drop Chemlight A separate rebindable action allows the player to instantly drop a chemlight at their feet without manually selecting it first. The system searches the player’s full inventory, including equipment and backpack storage, and automatically returns the player to their previously equipped weapon. Chemlights are selected in the following priority: Green Blue Yellow Red Any other compatible chemlight If no chemlights are available, nothing is dropped. This is intended primarily for room clearing, marking cleared areas, entry points, routes, or other locations without interrupting weapon handling. Notes The trajectory indicator is intentionally an approximation. Different throwable configurations, native launch-speed variation, surfaces, and projectile physics may cause the real grenade path to differ slightly from the displayed prediction. This mod was primarily built for practical CQB and milsim use rather than providing a precision grenade aiming system.
