Description from the Workshop
BFC Auto Radio is a script framework for Arma Reforger Conflict (Campaign) scenarios. Vanilla Conflict expects designers to place relay radios or hand-tune antenna ranges so HQ signal reaches every capture point. On large or spread-out maps, distant control points often show HQ signal loss and refuse to seize—even when the layout is correct. This mod fixes that at runtime: • Automatic radio ranges — On mission start, finds all bases with radios, builds a minimum spanning tree (MST) over their positions, and sets each relay range so every link in the chain can connect. • Dynamic capture eligibility — Neutral control points become capturable when any friendly base in your HQ network can reach them by radio (not only bases you already own). • Capture refresh — When a base changes faction, coverage recalculates so the next point in the chain unlocks automatically. • Optional dynamic seizing — Scales capture times for low-pop / seeding servers (off by default for full 128-player lobbies). • Optional HQ building for all ranks — Configurable rank gate for HQ building mode. FOR SCENARIO AUTHORS 1. Add BFC Auto Radio as a dependency in your scenario .gproj. 2. On your GameMode_Campaign entity, add BFC_AutoRadioCoverageGameModeComponent (category: BFC/Conflict). 3. Keep the vanilla GameMode_Campaign prefab—do not replace it with a custom game mode unless you know you need to.
