Description from the Workshop

REAL IMPACT GRENADE SYSTEM Adds two Soviet hand grenades that detonate on impact instead of burning down a timer: the RGO (defensive) and the RGN (offensive). Both are built around the real UDZ fuze and their figures come from the field manual, not from feel. THE FUZE The UDZ is an impact fuze with a safety delay, and it is modelled as one: - arms 1 second after the throw - until then an impact does nothing - past that point it detonates on contact with any surface - if it never armed, or landed without a solid hit, it self-destructs after 4 seconds A grenade lobbed at a wall a few metres away will bounce off and burn down its timer, exactly as the real one does. Thrown at range, it goes off the instant it lands - no more counting seconds while the enemy walks away. RGO - DEFENSIVE 530 g, 92 g A-IX-1 charge, about 670 fragments, lethal radius 16.5 m. Fragments carry well past that radius. Throw it from cover. RGN - OFFENSIVE 310 g, 97 g charge, about 290 fragments, lethal radius 8.7 m. Light, safe to throw from the open, and it still hits harder than an RGD-5 up close. DETAILS - custom 3D models with their own PBR textures and collision meshes - fragmentation driven by the engine's Gurney model, fed with the real charge and case weights, so each grenade behaves the way its build dictates - damage falloff anchored to the documented lethal radius of each grenade - available from the arsenal for USSR and FIA Server-safe: detonation is decided by the authority and replicated to clients.
