Description from the Workshop
CSWG Chinook Vehicle Sling 0.1.0 - initial development release. Requires H-47 Chinook by Colton1070 (61957C5C6FB7A773) and its dependencies. Adds sling controls to existing Chinook variants inheriting H47_base. Pilot/copilot can attach while hovering overhead. Ground crew can attach while standing beside the cargo. One empty vehicle per helicopter, maximum 50,000 kg. Hold the hook 4-16 m above the vehicle roof, within 4 m horizontally; helicopter speed below 2 m/s and cargo below 1 m/s. Pilot HUD hook symbol: grey searching, amber blocked with reason, green ready to attach, blue cargo attached. Use the Attach vehicle sling action when green. Lower the load within 1.5 m of terrain and hold steady before Release vehicle sling. Use open, dry ground. This version uses a stabilized suspended load with four cosmetic cables, not swinging-rope physics or a flight-model weight modification. Cargo stays level and retains its heading. Obstacle, roof and water drop detection are not implemented. Engine tests passed for ground and pilot attachment, lift, release, readiness states and the 50-tonne limit. Multiplayer and cockpit HUD presentation remain unverified. H47_base prefab derived from H-47 Chinook by Colton1070. Licensed under Arma Public License Share Alike (APL-SA). Chinook models and textures are not redistributed.
