Project MARZ – Licensing & Disclaimer Project MARZ is a standalone, independently developed science fiction modification inspired by H.G. Wells' original 1898 novel, The War of the Worlds, while establishing its own unique universe, lore, technology, and creative direction. The project expands beyond its original inspiration by introducing custom alien walkers, mechs, factions, weapons, mechanical designs, and gameplay systems. All original models, textures, animations, scripts, and other assets are independently developed for Project MARZ. Intellectual Property Statement Project MARZ is an independent creative project and is not an official adaptation of The War of the Worlds. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any studios, publishers, or rights holders associated with later adaptations. All original Project MARZ assets remain the intellectual property of their respective creators. Unauthorized redistribution, repackaging, or commercial use of these assets is prohibited without permission from their respective creators. Project MARZ DEV – Development Disclaimer Project MARZ DEV is the experimental development and testing version of Project MARZ. This version receives new content, features, mechanical systems, and experimental changes before they are introduced into the main release. WARNING: WORK IN PROGRESS (WIP) – UNSTABLE BUILD The DEV version may contain bugs, unfinished content, broken features, performance issues, or compatibility problems. It is intended primarily for testing and development rather than regular server use. Features introduced in the DEV version are subject to modification, removal, or replacement without notice. Main Release – Server Stability The main version of Project MARZ is designed with server stability, reliability, and compatibility as priorities.
