Description from the Workshop

PBS 2.0 is an advanced medical and casualty overhaul for Arma Reforger, designed to make battlefield injuries more immersive, consequential, and tactical without relying on excessive gore. Rather than every serious injury simply resulting in death, PBS 2.0 expands the medical system with severe limb trauma, limb loss, increased bleeding, mobility restrictions, injury notifications, and persistent casualties. When a limb suffers catastrophic damage, PBS 2.0 can treat that limb as effectively lost or unusable. The affected player receives clear information about the injury, while gameplay restrictions represent its severity. Core Features Severe Limb Trauma & Limb Loss Arms and legs can become critically damaged or unusable. Injury checks can identify the affected limb as LIMB LOSS. Functional Limb Damage A destroyed arm can prevent normal use of that limb. Severe leg injuries restrict standing and normal movement. Players suffering catastrophic injuries to their legs can be limited to crawling, preventing normal walking or crouching. Enhanced Bleeding Catastrophic injuries significantly increase blood loss. Severe limb trauma becomes a genuine medical emergency requiring rapid treatment. Player Injury Notifications Players receive on-screen information when a limb becomes too badly damaged to function. Medical injury checks clearly communicate serious injuries to both casualties and those treating them. Medical System Integration Designed to work alongside the existing Arma Reforger medical framework. Built with ACE Medical compatibility in mind so PBS 2.0 can complement more advanced medical gameplay. Persistent Casualties PBS 2.0 includes changes intended to prevent bodies from immediately disappearing through normal cleanup behaviour, allowing casualties to remain part of the battlefield for longer. The Goal PBS 2.0 is built around one idea: getting hit should have consequences beyond simply losing health. A catastrophic injury can completely change the situation....
