FRONTLINE - COUNTERATTACK Frontline - COUNTERATTACK is an add-on for Frontline PvE by Trippi7. It does not add or replace any scenario or game mode: launch one of the original Frontline PvE scenarios with this add-on enabled. WHAT IT DOES The add-on introduces a new selectable access faction: USSR - Counter Attack. After joining this faction, players can deploy directly into an existing Soviet AI infantry unit already fighting in the scenario. No additional character is spawned. The system randomly selects an eligible living USSR soldier, prioritizing units near an active battle and avoiding distant forces that may soon be removed by the Frontline cleanup system. If no suitable Soviet unit is currently available, deployment remains unavailable until an eligible unit enters the battlefield. The possessed soldier remains part of the real USSR faction and contributes Soviet territorial influence. Players can defend red territory, contest US-controlled sectors and participate directly in the Soviet counterattack. HOW TO PLAY Enable Frontline - COUNTERATTACK alongside Frontline PvE. Launch an original Frontline PvE scenario. Select USSR - Counter Attack from the faction selection screen. Select the COUNTER ATTACK deployment point. Deploy and take control of an available Soviet soldier. FEATURES Control existing USSR AI infantry. Random assignment near the active frontline. Native deployment availability checks. Correct USSR territorial influence. Respawn into another eligible Soviet unit after death. No Game Master required. No additional scenarios or game modes. Frontline PvE files remain untouched.
