Description from the Workshop

MV-75 Cheyenne II The MV-75 Cheyenne II is a next-generation tiltrotor assault aircraft built around the concept of the U.S. Army’s Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft program. Based on the same general design philosophy as Bell’s V-280 Valor, the platform combines helicopter-style vertical takeoff and landing with the speed, range, and efficiency of a fixed-wing turboprop aircraft. Designed as a future replacement for the UH-60 Black Hawk in the Army’s medium-lift assault role, the MV-75 is intended to dramatically increase the distance and speed at which troops, equipment, and casualties can be moved across the battlefield. Its tiltrotor configuration allows it to operate from confined landing zones while transitioning into high-speed forward flight once airborne. The aircraft is designed around long-range operations, rapid troop movement, and survivability in contested environments. With a modular digital architecture, the platform can support future avionics, sensors, communications systems, electronic warfare equipment, mission computers, and other mission-specific technology as requirements evolve. The MV-75 platform is suited for a wide range of missions including: Air assault and infantry transport Tactical insertion and extraction Medical evacuation Special operations Combat search and rescue Logistics and resupply Command and control Long-range troop movement Humanitarian and recovery operations Included Variants MV-75 Cheyenne II The standard assault transport variant, designed around troop movement, tactical transport, and general battlefield aviation operations. MV-75 Cheyenne II SOAR A special operations configuration built for more demanding missions such as long-range insertion, nighttime operations, special reconnaissance support, extraction, and high-risk assault missions. MV-75 Cheyenne II Medical A dedicated MEDEVAC configuration designed for casualty evacuation and medical transport, allowing wounded personnel to be rapidly moved from th...
