Targeting screen — boxes now sit on the mines, because the projection is done by the engine through the sight camera instead of a hand-written model with guessed optics. That's the fix that made it stop needing recalibration every time anything moved. Plus distance-scaled brackets, a boresight cross projected down the barrel, and the turret no longer appearing in its own picture. Screen brightness — the night glare came from the screen material multiplying everything drawn on it, so text was arriving about eight times past saturation. Colours are authored low now, with separate controls for text, boot logo and camera feed. Turret — the sliding had two structural causes: the two bases were mounted side by side with nothing joining them, and every part's transform was being read back and rewritten each frame, which accumulates. Both fixed. Elevation is back at 15°, sequenced after the slew, and the turret winds home on power-off. Damage, sound, range, housekeeping — wrecks on vehicle death, the motor sound that wouldn't stop, button clicks, the firing sound that was only working by accident, 250 m unified, and the dead code and files removed. I wrote it player-facing with a sentence of why on the bigger items, since "fixed target boxes" alone doesn't tell anyone much. If you'd rather have it terse — just the bullet lines, no explanations — say so and I'll cut it down. Same if you want it split into a public changelog and a separate technical one.
