Description from the Workshop

Description ARGH_HORSE adds a rideable horse to Arma Reforger. Features SHS DriveBy shooting mod by SHS Lucalis FEATURES - Ride it. Walk, run and sprint gaits with a full animation set. - Animated IK hooves that track terrain, driven by footfall events rather than a fixed cycle. - Mounted shooting. Draw your weapon in the saddle and fire while moving, powered by SHS Drive-By. - Rider IK. Hands to the pommel, boots in the stirrups, torso leaning into the gait. - Jumping, falling and a rider ejection when things go badly. - Damage and death, with animated hit volumes that follow the body rather than a static bind-pose shell. - Game Master placeable, faction CIV. - Multiplayer. Host and clients, riderless AI wandering included. - A cowboy hat. Obviously. HONEST NOTE This is not what it needs to be. It is the closest I have gotten so far, and I would rather put it in your hands and keep working than sit on it another six months. Expect rough edges — the falling animations need authoring, the rider pose still fights the pommel, and AI navmesh following is not in yet. Feedback welcome. CREDITS Biggest shout out to Dusty Barz (WITH A Z FOLKS) for his help understanding root motion. That was the wall I kept hitting, and I would not have gotten past it without him. Big thanks to Sentry for always being a rock. And thanks to SHS Lucalis for letting me use Drive-By — the mounted shooting simply would not exist otherwise.
