Description from the Workshop

Building Limits adds per-base construction caps to the vanilla base-building system. For any structure you choose, you can set a maximum number of instances allowed per base — once reached, the blueprint can no longer be placed there, and the player gets a clear on-screen message explaining why. FEATURES - Per-building, per-base limits — the same structure can be capped differently at every base if you want (each base tracks its own count independently). - Simple values: -1 = unlimited, 0 = disabled entirely, any positive number = max allowed per base. - Blocks the blueprint at the moment of placement (greyed-out preview), not after the fact — no wasted materials, no "build then get deleted" surprises. - Native-style feedback message, shown to every player regardless of their Hints setting. - Zero performance cost for anything you don't configure — unlisted buildings are completely untouched and untracked. SETUP This mod ships with no limits configured by default — every structure is unlimited until you say otherwise. To set limits: 1. Open your mission's GameMode prefab in Workbench. 2. Select the AD_BuildingLimitComponent (already attached). 3. In Object Properties, expand Building Limits and press + to add an entry. 4. Pick the building's prefab and set its limit (-1/0/N). 5. Repeat for every structure you want to restrict. Save. No entry = no restriction. Only add rows for buildings you actually want to cap. DISCLAIMER This mod extends (does not replace) SCR_CampaignBuildingPlacingEditorComponent and adds one new entry to the ENotification enum. It may conflict with other mods that heavily modify the same building-placement class. Standalone otherwise — no other core systems are touched. ------------------------------------------------- Help or Feedback, join the discord: https://discord.gg/vDXazsUcfK
