Equip the Garmin GPS to your watch slot, remove your watch from your watch slot, press the O key to view the Garmin itself. Step 1: Hold the Power On button Step 2: Press Change Mode button to switch between a map centered on you, or the original GPS overlay. NOTE: You will have to switch back to the map page if you open your actual map while viewing it. Huge Thanks for Naughty(Mercury) and AgentZero for their help with custom animations, and map scripting. Would not have been able to do this without their help.
