Description from the Workshop

SHS IVAS is an integrated battlefield-awareness system designed to give players useful tactical information without turning the game into an arcade-style wallhack. Current Testing Features 🌙 Advanced Night Vision 🔥 Thermal / FLIR systems 🥽 IVAS visor controls 🎯 LOS-based hostile acquisition 📍 Last-known-position tracking after visual contact is lost 📉 Contact confidence decay 👥 Friendly IFF 🪖 Role-based Friendly IFF 🧠 Automatic tactical-role inference 🟨 Civilian / non-combatant identification ❓ Unknown / unresolved contact identification 📡 Squad-scoped Tactical Data Link 🔗 Shared hostile contact information 🚁 Remote UAV camera feeds 🐕 K9 / remote camera support 👤 Operator / Handler identification 📶 Remote-feed signal degradation 📺 Picture-in-Picture remote feeds 🎮 Full IVAS radial-menu controls for PC and console ⚙️ Contact-detail and HUD filtering options 🎯 Contact-priority system to reduce battlefield clutter How Hostile Tracking Works SHS IVAS does not provide permanent live enemy tracking. Remote contacts received from squad members, UAVs, K9s, or other sensors remain tactical intelligence and do not provide through-wall live silhouettes. Friendly & Civilian Identification Friendly forces can be identified using role-based IFF markers such as: RFL — Rifleman AR — Automatic Rifleman MED — Medic SL — Squad Leader JTAC — JTAC Players can manually select their tactical role, while IVAS can also infer a fallback role when one has not been selected. Civilians are handled separately from hostile contacts and are intentionally identified so players can recognize non-combatants and avoid accidental engagements. Tactical Data Link Shared contacts are squad/group scoped by...
