  1. v1.0.4 5 KB 25 Jul 2026

1.0.4 production release: removes the automatic 15-second test cycle, so enabling the addon no longer overrides scenario weather. Light and heavy rain API presets now apply distinct 35% and 100% intensities. Presets reset conflicting overrides, snow accumulation/melt timing is corrected, and the optional user action remains available for authored scenarios. Winterize Terrain remains an optional static-snow companion.

Description from the Workshop

Production weather-control framework for Arma Reforger scenario and mod creators. Features: clear and overcast presets; distinct light and heavy rain; thunderstorms with adjustable wind and fog; stock lightning flashes and thunder audio; snowfall; and a 0..1 compatibility signal for dynamic-snow materials. Setup: add SCR_WeatherControlComponent to the scenario GameMode, then call its server-authoritative API or place SCR_WeatherControlUserAction on an in-world prop. Merely enabling the addon does not automatically take over scenario weather. Optional snow companion: Winterize Terrain by Kexanone (Workshop ID 6088438E8ED8BB2A) supplies snow-covered Everon ground, rooftops, vegetation, and tree crowns. Winterize is a static material replacement, so its snow does not visibly grow or melt. Progressive accumulation requires compatible dynamic-snow map materials. Snow is visual and does not change terrain collision depth.
