CSWG Global Radio - Alpha An early test release for mission makers and community testers. Includes an original CSWG handheld model inspired by rugged MTP-series radios, with keypad, static display, side PTT, top dial and antenna. The custom radio inherits the standard AN/PRC-68 radio functionality and sets its transceivers to a requested range of 1,000,000 metres. This is a finite configuration value, not a verified promise of unlimited coverage. Existing vanilla radios are not changed. SETUP Available in the standard US faction arsenal equipment list as CSWG Long Range Handheld. Enable version 0.1.1 or later and restart the scenario/server after updating. Custom arsenals that replace the US inventory catalogue may need their own integration. Mission makers can also place Prefabs/Items/Equipment/Radios/Radio_CSWG_Handheld.et in Workbench. Resource ID: 09E29BBC8D93A931. Run the addon on the server and all participating clients. Use a playable scenario containing a RadioManagerEntity. Both users need the CSWG handset for bidirectional extended-range testing, matching frequency/encryption settings and their radios powered on. KNOWN LIMITATIONS This is an untested multiplayer alpha. Pickup/drop, hand alignment, dial movement, respawn, join-in-progress and compatibility with other mods need community verification. The screen and keypad lettering are static artwork, not an interactive digital display. No test scenario is included. In-game arsenal pickup and multiplayer communication still need community testing. FEEDBACK Please report game version, map, other loaded mods, whether using a dedicated server, approximate separation, and whether voice worked in both directions.
