RIVINS Discord Relay

RIVINS Discord Relay connects a Discord channel to your Arma Reforger servers. Staff type a message in one Discord channel and every server shows it on screen within a few seconds. No in-game admin login, no chat commands, no restart. WHAT IT DOES - Announcements: a message on every player's screen for as long as you choose - Event panel: a message that STAYS on screen (for example "City needs reinforcements"), also for players who join later - Per server or all servers at once - The bot confirms in Discord which servers showed the message COMMANDS (typed in the Discord channel) Server restart in 10 minutes every server, 15 seconds 30 Paradrop leaves now! every server, 30 seconds (5 - 120) flight: Kill house is open only the server called "flight" event: City needs reinforcements panel that stays on every server flight event: Drone City under attack panel on one server only event: clear remove the panel HOW IT WORKS A Reforger server cannot receive messages from outside, so it asks. Every few seconds the server requests new messages from the RIVINS Guardian bot. Anything new is shown to every player. The event panel text is replicated, so late joiners see it too. SERVER SETUP Dedicated servers only. Clients do not need to do anything; the mod downloads with the server. On first start the mod writes profile/RIVINS/discord_relay.txt: enabled=1 url=http://<relay address>:<port> server=<name used in Discord, e.g. flight> interval=5 key= Set enabled=1 and a server name, then restart the server.
