Description from the Workshop
Situation Overview: PMC Infiltration: Over the past several months, private military contractors have conducted undercover operations in key locations: Arland Airfield: Operatives embedded as stock clerks have uncovered shipping schedules and managed to establish a list of USSR assets and communication network locations. USSR forces have become highly suspicious of the PMC’s activities, and relations have become strained. They are currently hiding out in a warehouse at the airfield. Beauregard Bay: A separate team has posed as fishermen, using their cover to amass and secure a weapons cache near Signal Hill. USSR Forces Status: Recent intelligence indicates that USSR troop strength and weapon supplies at Arland are critically low due to ongoing heavy fighting elsewhere. A shipment of military hardware arrived last night, but troop reinforcements are not expected for another 24-48 hours.
